Antonio Aragón Renuncio is a documentary photographer who since the mid-nineties has always been related to the photographic medium: He writes about photography and publishes reports in prestigious international print and digital media. Founder and President of the Photographers Association «Nostromo» (Spain). Professor of Photography in several universities (+17 years) in Spain and Nicaragua. General Editor of Xplorer Magazine (Nicaragua). Associate Director Graphos Producciones (Nicaragua). Free-lance photographer for different International News Agencies. Director Xtreme PhotoWS (Burkina Faso). Organizes and directs the «Jornadas Fotografía un Mundo Mejor» (Spain). He writes about photography and publishes his reports in the main international media. His photographs have illustrated the pages of: National Geographic, The New York Times, CNN, Smithsonian Magazine, XLSemanal, The Guardian, El País, Forbes, View Magazine, Stena Magazine, FV, PhotogrVphy Magazine, La Prensa, Better Photography Magazine, British Journal of Photography, LF Magazine, El Diario Montañés Magazine, Magazine, Lens Culture Magazine, RT, UNICEF…
In 2002 he founded, and since then has presided over, the NGO OASIS (www.ongoasis.org) with which they have been developing medical projects in an uninterrupted manner in some of the most depressed areas of the Gulf of Guinea in Africa.

His work has been exhibited in more than 300 exhibitions around the world (Spain, United Kingdom, Nicaragua, Colombia, France, China, Mexico, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Georgia, India, United States, Italy, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Korea, Poland, Canada…) and his images are part of several public and private collections.
He currently spends most of his time working on long-term research projects, mainly in Africa and Central America. He remains commited to issues related to conservation, health, poverty, diminishing cultures, discrimination, sustainability and the environment.
